She'll Teach You Swagger

For those of you who don't think that community reviews are important: I sought out Tammy on my 1-day trip back through NYC 100% because of a burner who wrote an adorably glowing review on her class. Thanks for the reference, corefusionlover1230! Rounding up from a 4.5.
Here's the review that made me want to check out this class.

Exhale customer service for the win.

So I have been in my "week of transformation" in Boston and then it turned out I had to come to NYC and would essentially lose 4/7 of the days of my week pass. For someone who likes to interpret "7 days unlimited" as "GO TO EVERY CLASS HUMANLY POSSIBLE" this was somewhat devastating. Anyhoo, I called up the NYC location to see if I could do one class in NYC and they allowed it (not having any idea who I was, I will mention.) Rock on!

On Tammy Rowe.

Shake your tailfeather. The first thing I noticed about Tammy was her swagger. As I was checking in at the desk (located down the hotel hall from the main studio) she checked in to get her list and then turned around and strutted back to the classroom. Not an "I'm hot" kind of strut, like an "I really enjoy walking and am in a good mood and am unintentionally shaking my booty" kind of strut.
The superficial. Great bod. Want her arms, killer. Like my girl Mila Kunis, Tammy's eyes are her most striking feature. You'll know what I mean if you meet her.
...So let's move on to her awesome energy. This chick is bursting with it. Just sprays her great attitude all over the place.
Casual. Tammy has a casual, fun vibe. She told us we'd switch class to face the stereo because she taught the previous class facing the window and she wanted to switch it up. This is a teacher who has no problem improvising.
Corrections - great. Came over and did a few on me. More Tammy, more!
Due diligence. She did it. Names and injuries. Also followed up on mine and gave me specific movements to substitute during roundback abs.
Silly. At one point the fan was flowing directly behind her head, which made me giggle out loud, and she made some funny comment about it.
On the class.

Above-average hard. The class was not the absolute hardest I had ever taken, but above-average challenging as Exhale barre classes go.
Arms section was legit. Extremely challenging. Given, my arms were already pretty pooped, but this arms section was seriously burny. It was longer and more painful than others I've had at Exhale, not to mention that I finally graduated to 4 pounders.
Thighs and buns. Solid, though we did some lunges that I thought should have lasted a bit longer (they were great I just wanted an extended section).
Abs section. Very solid. I was surprised at this section because it was like a mixture of Exhale abs and traditional Pilates. Not like a departure from the method or anything, but definitely different from other abs sections I've had at Exhale.
One note for improvement.

Learned something new.

I prefer being barefoot at all times (my feet are hot!!) and so I asked if this was a "sock required" class since the floor at Gansevoort Park is wood. Turns out, no core fusion barre classes at Exhale are barefoot (only cardio, sport, etc) because of the section where you put your foot up on the bar to stretch.

All in all:

Great teacher, really liked her style, energy and pep. Would most definitely repeat!
